Move for Mental Health – Charity Run/Walk

On Sunday August 26th, who will you Move for?

Lets come together as a community and Move for Mental Health with a 5 km and 10 km Charity trail Run/Walk hosted by BodyKraft. Move for Mental Health will be taking place on the beautiful Shellharbour parkrun course set up in a clockwise direction at Reflections Killalea Reserve at 11am, this course is as beautiful as it is challenging. The course has all types of terrain with dirt, rocks, sand, grass and hills, but a challenge is what makes it fun and the views are spectacular. The run starts and finishes at The Farm Cafe, located inside “Reflections Killalea Reserve”.

Costs: Charity Fun Run/Walk $5 – 5 km Course $10 – 10 km Course (2 laps) 100% of registrations will go to beyondblue. *Price does not include GST and Eventbrite Fees. Please arrive half an hour early for run/walk briefing and warm up, Registrations will be open on the day and close at 10:45 AM, if choosing to register on the day please allow sufficient time. Price includes coloured wrist band and participation certificate.

During the day we will have some great family fun entertainment available starting from 10am located near the cafe “Reflections Killalea Reserve”. Activities include Face Painting and Balloon Twisting by Fairy Fantasy Parties, Cupcake Stall, Hair Braiding, Sausage Sizzle, Jumping Castle and beyondblue information table with more to be announced soon, including health and fitness stalls. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the day and winners will be drawn at 3pm. Activities are subject to change. FAQs Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event? Anyone under 11 years of age must run with a guardian.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is parking inside Killelea State Park with car parks adjacent to the Kiosk area. Cars can also be parked on the grass near the park centre.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes, Please bring your ticket and signed waiver form with you on the day.

Will the event be timed? The charity fun run will not be timed its aimed to be fun and get everyone moving and out in our beautiful surroundings, serious runners can use their own devices to time the run.
